I am a local hand crafter who creates toys from felt and mixed textiles. Quality Control Officer - Olivia 'Liv' I'd like to introduce my quality control officer and focus group, Liv. She gives me lots of feedback and advise, like what else we need to make to play with. We often have a Picnic or a Sandwich Shop themed playtime, where I am always dressed up in my finest Minnie Mouse dress, of course with a pearl purse containing many dollar bills with her, my and Opa's photos on them. Card Holder
My grand-daughter was having a tough time holding the playing cards in her little hands while we played "Go Fish" or "UNO" and asked me if it I could make something to make it easier for her. These card holders are the perfect fit. I also made some that are square so it will hold the bigger playing cards that kids have. She loves them and now it's so much easier for her to see all the cards in her hand. And yes, she does win almost every time. She's a serious UNO player. Star Wars & Super Heroes
Play masks for the little ones. These are Star War themed, but I have also make superheroes and am able to design ones especially for you. I use synthetic felt on the piece that is on the face so that it's not uncomfortable against their delicate skin. |

Gingerbread House
This little gingerbread house is fully interactive. Your little one can decorate it any way they like, over and over with the felt pieces that are included. The roof opens up on one side where the pieces can be stored. Made from felt. |
My Other 'Creative Side'

Northern Holland
This is from my Fibre Art side, it's based on a photo from a trip my husband and I took to Northern Holland. I loved the look of the old buildings, they are so colourful. Many of the building's have shifted over the years, they are no longer square on their foundations. I drew the photo onto a muslin backing, created a collage on top by using old Dutch textbooks, and painted over the paper and added fabric. |
